What to have ready before requesting an offer

A few details help us understand the property. You do not need to finish a renovation or assemble a perfect file.

Start with the address and your plans

Tell us where the property is, who owns it, and what has you considering a sale. A target move date is useful, but it is also fine to say you are still deciding. If there is a court, estate, or lender deadline, mention it early so we can assess timing realistically.

Describe the condition as you know it

Let us know about repairs, updates, damage, and anything you are unsure about. Recent photographs can help the initial conversation, but they do not replace an agreed property review. There is no need to paint, stage, or repair the house to request an offer.

Explain who is living there

Is the house your home, a vacant property, or a rental? Tell us about occupants and any lease. For an inherited property, identify the estate representative if one has been appointed. These details help us ask the right questions before discussing a purchase.

Keep sensitive documents for the right stage

You do not need to send bank statements, Social Security numbers, or account passwords through the website. If documents are needed later, we will discuss what they are and how to provide them appropriately. Your attorney or closing professional may need additional information.

Bring your questions, too

Ask how the offer was calculated, what costs you would pay, what conditions apply, and who would be purchasing. Write down anything important about move-out timing or belongings. An offer is useful only if you understand the whole proposal.

Thinking about selling?

Tell us about your property. We’ll discuss your timeline and whether a direct sale makes sense.

Requesting an offer is free. There’s no obligation to accept.
